What Can Your CRM Consultant Do For You?

There are CRM consultants and there are experienced CRM consultants. Customer relationship management is a business strategy and not a piece of software. It is something that the whole company embraces with gusto and it takes time to implement. Its elements have to be planned, built, tested, and refined.

The term "CRM" was coined in the late 1980s but its adoption in commerce did not take off until the mid-to-late1990s. Therefore, most of today's CRM consultants were practising something else, unless they were doing what we now know as CRM. So, how do you know if your CRM consultant has the right background.
